" Cute "

REVEAL NUMBER 2
Case File no 134 at CSI (Color,Stories and Inspiration )
Hi everyone this is my take on the case file. This is my granddaughter Eliza playing in her tent in the loungeroom. Playing peek a boo.I felt the case file just lends itself  to fun and playing and this photo was just the perfect fit for me.
This layout was also based on the sketch by Emma Stafrace

The Scheme;bright yellow, medium aqua, navy blue, light beige/ivory and reddish orange. As you can see all the colours have been used.

The Evidence; aliens,bird,metal,stitching,circles

The Testimony;I wrote a thank you to my granddaughter Eliza to thank her for all the wonderful thinks she brings to my life.

Question 2
What would you say is your "fingerprint" on you scrapbook pages?
This one is so easy,  Flowers. I love them and will always find a home for them on one of my layouts.

This is the case file and sketch that I used for my inspiration

My First Off The Page Creation

Hi everyone, just thought I would try my hand at an "Off the Page " creation for something a little different. Having never attempted one of these before this is what I came up with. This is my son-in-law Scott and my 2 beautiful granddaughters Emelia and Eliza. The shadow box was the packing for some Prima angels which I had kept. The heart  frame in the top box was white so  I painted it black and edged it with gold Inka paste. I love the effect, very vintage.

Just a few close ups for you.

" Those Eyes "

Hi every one this is case file no 132 at CSI (Color,Stories and Inspiration)
                                                  http://csicolorstoriesinspiration.ning.com/
Case files at CSI are divided into 4 parts, The Scene, The Scheme, The Evidence and The Testimony.
This is the Testimony that is on the rear of the photos and on the back of the page.
This is the my very cute little granddaughter  "Eliza" in Summer eating a yummy Icypole. I think in Australia during our hot summers most of us would have enjoyed at some time the joy of having a frozen icypole from the freezer. Whether they are "Cool Pops or "Super Doopers" or any of the numerous brands available I know Eliza is really enjoying hers in this photo. Everyone would try to get to the new packet first to get the best flavours. Now they have real fruit juice ones.  Eliza is sitting on her sofa bed, watching her favourite TV show with this very cooling little treat. How many times have we used these threats as a way of getting our children to have fluids especially when they might be sick. I remember having Glugs (coke) Sunnyboys(orange) or Razz's (red) as a child. Little triangles of frozen flavoured liquid. We would go to the local swimming pool and on the walk home which was about 4 ks we would be allowed to have a treat of one of these. I remember that they would cost 5c and if you were lucky you might have found a " get one free" stamped on the inside. It was so exciting to get a free one for the next trip to the pool. These were something you could eat on your own or in the company of others.
Even now that I'm all grown up, during summer I still have a stash of these in my freezer because I and all of the family still love them. I might add that still to this day the orange ones are always the ones that are left till last.

The Scheme: Light blue, Light charese, medium brown, pale yellow and cherry red.
All used and a few more.
The Evidence: These are what I used, leaves, branches, string (around the ribbon), ribbon (hidden ion the cluster), punches, pour something on your page (paint, Dylusions, microbeads), floral pattern(on the papers in the layers)
The Testimony; I used a couple this time see above.
I journaled about food.
I wrote a Haiku poem.
I used inspo words in eat, company and cute.

" Strike a Pose "

Finally I can reveal that I was asked to be a Special Investigator for August  at Color,Stories and Inspiration.

                                                                               http://csicolorstoriesinspiration.ning.com/

Of course I said yes and this is my first layout for the month.

What an amazing honour to be asked to be a Special Investigator at Color,Stories and Inspiration. This is case file no 133.

These are my gorgeous little granddaughters Emelia and Eliza about a year ago now. All dressed up ready for Mum to take some photos. Haven't we all done this with our children over the years. Hoping that they will sit still long enough or stay clean long enough so you can capture their gorgeous little faces. The photos were colour but I think as black and white they go so well with the colors of the layout.

The Scheme; hot pink, bright orange, white, light gray and dark gray- all used

                                                  Layers and layers
Evidence; I used from the list polka dots, ribbons, flowers,paints/watercolors (the big pink flower I handmade)

The Testimony; The topic was based on dressing up little girls for photos and I used the inspiration words  DELIGHT, SIMPLE and OH.

Question 1
What is your favourite colour to work with?
I wouldn't say that I have a favourite colour as I'm happy to use all the colours. I do use aqua on a lot of my layouts as it is a great colour that goes with everything.

Just a couple of close up for you....

This is case file 133 that I based by layout on
