" Our Precious Girl "

Welcome everyone,
today I am sharing this layout of my gorgeous little granddaughter " Milly May"

                                                           September Mood Board

I created this layout to enter an online challenge. Yes, it has been quite a few years since I entered an online challenge but I was so taken September's mood board over at Dusty Attic
I just loved the colours of this mood board, the pinks, the blues and the deep maroon colours that much I just had to play along.

I have used chipboard from Dusty Attic, papers and flowers from 49 & Market and bits and pieces from my stash.

" The Shed

Hello and welcome back.
Today I want to share with you a layout I did recently for my shop's retreat, Scrapping by the Sea.
I am so happy with the final result as the fabulous photo is my hubby's Mum and Grandmother sitting on the steps of the shearing sheds at Collarenebri in outback NSW.
For this one I have used metal embellishments from Prima and papers from 49andMarket.
Would you believe that everything that was adhered to this layout was altered in some way.  There are so many layers from the papers to metal embellishments to the chipboard to the beads to the inks and sprays till the final layer of Finnabair waxes.

" 10 Reasons Why I Love You "

Welcome back,
this is part 2 of my four page feature in Australian Scrapbook Ideas. I don't do a lot of double layout like this one but I really loved how this one came together.
I hand cut all those heart that connect the 2 pages. Each of the little tags entwined in the vine are the 10 reasons. Maybe a little romantic.

I think its more dramatic when you can see the 2 pages together.
I love creating layouts with layers and then finishing it off with lots of interesting embellishments.

Glittery cogs, gorgeous flowers finished off by some stamping.

Can you think of 10 reasons?

Yes, all those little heart were each cut individual. I just kept telling myself, its the little details that make the layout better.

" Beautiful Girls 4 Generations "

Hi everyone,
I must first say sorry to you all. Since opening my little shop I have become somewhat very busy and unfortunately don't have as much time to post as I used too.
However, like most of us I decided to challenge myself to post on a more regular basis.
So to start my new challenge off I have decided to post a few older projects but some that I am very proud of.

This one is part of a 4 page feature in the now discontinued Australian Scrapbooking Ideas. I was over the moon to be asked to do this but also very nervous. I don't know about you but I can never see my work as anything more than ordinary.
So enjoy...

For Christmas our family has a photo booth. I have a huge box of dress ups, 2 large frames, I in red and one in silver. I set up the camera with a remote trigger and usually end up with over 100 photos of all sorts. No arguments no hassles.

.
I made the little hearts by cutting out 2 in different sizes, joining them together then adhering some pretty beads to the centres.
Lots of layers which is something I love to do.

As you can see I fussy cut the hands so it looked like she was holding the frame.

Doubles are a great way of using lots of photos
