"My Mum "

Hello everyone.
Today I wanted to share another one of my recent class layouts.
This is me trying to show my Mum what a " selfie " is.
It is now one of my favourite photographs.

I used a couple of  older 49&Market ranges and of course their gorgeous flowers to create this layout.
There is a mix of Dusty Attic and 2Crafty Chipboard in the background.
I just inked the chipboard pieces with Distress ink pads, very quick and simple to do.

Green Tara laces and flowers finished of the layout.

Love the purple and yellow colour combo of this one..

" Hope "

Hello everyone,
today I want to share something a little different with you all.

This is something that I love to play with
" mixed media or Off the Page "

This is a double canvas I created recently for one of my classes in store.
I don't get  a lot of time to create off the page  projects so when I decided to do a class  on a canvas I couldn't wait to start.

Using a smaller canvas in the centre gives the whole canvas real depth. I loved the Prima  shutters that I used to showcase the photo of my son and partner.

Lace, Prima metal embellishments, Dusty Attic  chipboard are a few of the things I used as embellishments. I used my favorite sprays for colour which are of course Lindy Stamp Gang sprays.  Finishing off the canvas with touch of Kaisercraft gold spray.

I am so happy with the end result and think I may need to make time for a little more Off the Page projects as I really do love this type of craft.

" Our Precious Girl "

Welcome everyone,
today I am sharing this layout of my gorgeous little granddaughter " Milly May"

                                                           September Mood Board

I created this layout to enter an online challenge. Yes, it has been quite a few years since I entered an online challenge but I was so taken September's mood board over at Dusty Attic
I just loved the colours of this mood board, the pinks, the blues and the deep maroon colours that much I just had to play along.

I have used chipboard from Dusty Attic, papers and flowers from 49 & Market and bits and pieces from my stash.

" The Shed

Hello and welcome back.
Today I want to share with you a layout I did recently for my shop's retreat, Scrapping by the Sea.
I am so happy with the final result as the fabulous photo is my hubby's Mum and Grandmother sitting on the steps of the shearing sheds at Collarenebri in outback NSW.
For this one I have used metal embellishments from Prima and papers from 49andMarket.
Would you believe that everything that was adhered to this layout was altered in some way.  There are so many layers from the papers to metal embellishments to the chipboard to the beads to the inks and sprays till the final layer of Finnabair waxes.

" 10 Reasons Why I Love You "

Welcome back,
this is part 2 of my four page feature in Australian Scrapbook Ideas. I don't do a lot of double layout like this one but I really loved how this one came together.
I hand cut all those heart that connect the 2 pages. Each of the little tags entwined in the vine are the 10 reasons. Maybe a little romantic.

I think its more dramatic when you can see the 2 pages together.
I love creating layouts with layers and then finishing it off with lots of interesting embellishments.

Glittery cogs, gorgeous flowers finished off by some stamping.

Can you think of 10 reasons?

Yes, all those little heart were each cut individual. I just kept telling myself, its the little details that make the layout better.

" Beautiful Girls 4 Generations "

Hi everyone,
I must first say sorry to you all. Since opening my little shop I have become somewhat very busy and unfortunately don't have as much time to post as I used too.
However, like most of us I decided to challenge myself to post on a more regular basis.
So to start my new challenge off I have decided to post a few older projects but some that I am very proud of.

This one is part of a 4 page feature in the now discontinued Australian Scrapbooking Ideas. I was over the moon to be asked to do this but also very nervous. I don't know about you but I can never see my work as anything more than ordinary.
So enjoy...

For Christmas our family has a photo booth. I have a huge box of dress ups, 2 large frames, I in red and one in silver. I set up the camera with a remote trigger and usually end up with over 100 photos of all sorts. No arguments no hassles.

.
I made the little hearts by cutting out 2 in different sizes, joining them together then adhering some pretty beads to the centres.
Lots of layers which is something I love to do.

As you can see I fussy cut the hands so it looked like she was holding the frame.

Doubles are a great way of using lots of photos

Earth Angels

Welcome to another class page that I did recently at The Scrapbooker's Confetti Box. This was created for my April classes and I love how this one turned out.
This is my 2 beautiful grand daughters. I love the organic feel to this page.
Using papers from Colour Blast and teaming them with flowers from 49&Market. All the chipboard is from Dusty Attic.

This Girl

Welcome all,
this is my new class layout for the month at shop
                           The Scrapbooker's Confetti Box

I believe when you make a layout using your family it is done with love and they are always just beautiful works of art. This is my granddaughter Charlotte.
The background has been done with lots of texture paste, stamps and stenciling. As always I have added lots of layers and flowers to finish of my page. As my pages ar now not for Design Teams or shops, I wont add links to all the products. Please feel free to use them just for inspiration.
I have used products from 2Crafty chipboard, Dusty Attic chipboard, Kaisercraft papers, Prima flowers, Finnabair Stencil, Green Tara flowerInka Gold paste, Dylusions paints and numerous stamps.

Welcome back

Hello everyone, its been such a long time since I have been on here and this is the reason why.

In June 2017 I opened my own scrapbook shop in Swansea, NSW, Australia called The Scrapbooker's Confetti Box

Since then my little shop has grown and grown. I do classes and have teachers that come in and teach all sorts of papercraft classes. I have been privilaged to have some amazing overseas artist teach in my shop too. The very talented  Cheryl Boglioli  and Finnabair
I never thought my little shop would grow to be so busy and I am so very grateful to all those that have supported this very scary venture.

I am going to endeavour to post my layouts on here as much as I possibly can.

I have recently launched my website (yesterday) and that is a mammoth task but I'm sure I will get it done, it might just take awhile. We now have most of the social media covered if you would like to have a browse.

thanks to all of you
