Escape Relax Exhale

Hello and thanks for stopping by. I created this layout late last year after a trip to Wisemans Ferry, NSW.
Such a beautiful place and so very relaxing. Having the Scrapbook shop makes it hard to get away so when we can we go even just for a couple of days.

My hubby and furbaby were walking past this tunnel when I grabbed my camera a snapped this awesome photo. I have a hubby that hates having his photo taken.

This one has a real Aussie feel with kangaroos, echidnas hidden in the bush. Ive used Kaisercraft and 49& Market papers, Dusty Attic and 2Crafty Chipboard, Green Tara flowers to create the feel of the Aussie bush.I used my Aussie die cuts of bull rushes and Black Boys and added that gorgeous pop of blue prills to the chipboard.

I love to add lots of layers and then finished it off with a splash of rust paste around the background to bring it all together.

Just Love our Story

Welcome back,
today I am sharing one of my favorite layouts.
This photo was taken quite awhile ago now when we visited Sovereign Hill in Victoria, Australia.
I think we all tend to do things we normally wouldn't do when on holidays and getting my husband to dress up is one of them.

I just love to use all things from 49&Market
I have used this paper range quite a few times as I have found it very versatile.  Lots of layers of paper and lace, a few doilies. The clock die is a very old Sizzix one that I think was the very first die I ever bought. I added texture to the chippy with Finnabair's crackle paste. Some flowers and die cut leaves just finished it off.

Art Is The Music for Your Soul

Hello everyone,
with a new year comes a new diary cover.
For this years cover I went with a more masculine design.

Rice paper from Stamperia, chipboard from Dusty Attic, some stenciling and paint. All finished off with some metal bits and bobs from Finnabair.  This is the shops diary and I hope t get well used.

Collect Moments Not Things

 Hello everyone,
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.
Welcome to 2020 I hope that we all have a safe, happy and healthy New Year.

To start the year off I want to share this layout that I created after my youngest granddaughter was Christened.

I find it hard to soft colours so this year I am challenging myself to do more of them. I have used an older 49&Market paper range for the background of this layout.  Some stenciling in the background. I love the soft girlie feel that the lace and of course flowers add to this.

As you can see in this close up there are lots of layers. I love to add a few prills to the ends of my chipboard. I think it give just a lovely touch of texture.
There is a mixture of Prima, Green Tara and some other flowers that were in my stash.

Thanks for stopping by
