" Let your Light Shine "

CASE FILE 226
for

I really loved doing this case file but then I do love doing all the girly pretty soft colours.
This is just one of those case files.
This is a photograph of my youngest granddaughter Eliza.
I was playing with my new camera and whilst having a chat I was snap snap snapping heaps of pics.

This is the case file and this is how I solved it:
The Scheme- all colours are easily seen.
The Evidence I used the following, Polka Dots, string, light bulb, flowers and leaves, bugs, butterflies, animals, hearts, bows, enamel dots and something transparent
The Testimony; I wrote about what makes me happy and put it into the pockets to the right of the Photo.

 Some closeups for you:
Don't often do a split title but I like this especially after I covered it in Glossy Accents

Found these very cute dragonflies in my stash.

These feathers are homemade by me

Thanks for stopping by
till next time

" A few of this years Christmas Cards "

 Hi all,
just a very quick post for you.
I am just sharing some of my Christmas Cards for this year.

I always go with a theme and this year it was blue and white.

These are the ones I remembered to take a photo of before I sent them out.
I hope you like them too

Tanks for stopping by

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

I can't believe that I have not told you all my very exciting news, I am now teaching at
located at The Entrance, NSW.

Late last year out of the blue  I received a  phone call from the owner of the shop, Kirsty to see if I would be interested in teaching in her shop.

I thought about it for a couple of weeks and spoke to all my scrappy friends and then in the
New Year, rang Kirsty and told her that I would.
Having never taught in a formal setting before it was, I must say it was daunting, scary and exciting all in one.

So on the 2nd of February 2017 I conducted my very first class with this layout.
What a wonderful group of ladies for my first class.
We had so many laughs and such a fun time that if this is what teaching is all about,
I'm in.

At the moment I am teaching every Thursday with 2 classes, one in the morning and one in the afternoon but who knows what the future holds.
My scrapbook journey just amazes me every day. Not only do I get to create some beautiful layouts for my future family to remember those that came before but I have been given so many wonderful opportunities and never know what is around the next corner.

Thanks you all for following me through my journey and can't wait to share more with you all.

Cheers Carol xx

" Sweet, Beautiful and Sassy"

Hi everyone,
today I'm sharing this beautiful layout I created for March challenge over at
as part of the design team..

Love the orange and white and knew this was just the colours for a Black and white photograph.
This is a gorgeous photo of my daughter-in-law Kelsey. Its was taken when Kelsey was in high school as part of a project.

I unfortunately don't have any close ups at this time as I took the layout down to the shop where I'm teacher for the display. I will try to remember to grab some closeups and update the blog.

Lots of paint and ink splats to get this back ground right.
I actually used up some old bits and pieces of chipboard, flowers, diamantes  to create this layout.
I think the result was awesome and what a great way to use up some of that left over stash.

Thanks for stopping by
till next time
cheers
