" Christmas Gift Voucher Envelope "

Hi everyone and welcome to my
Christmas in July post.
I normally don't go in for the whole Chrissy in July but I have recently joined Nini's Design Team and am lucky enough to have these gorgeous dies.

If you haven't been on the site yet here is the link;

Anita had the cheapest dies online plus she also carries some stamps and embellies and bits and pieces.
Do yourself a favour and take a look.

The combination of these dies cut out the envelope and the infill on the front. There are 4 in the range,
I just loved this one.
What a fantastic idea to use to pop those Gift vouchers or gift cards in.
I chose Christmas for this one but you could use them for any type of celebration or just for a thank you.
You don't have to use the infill on the front, you can just use patterned cardstock and have a stunning envelope.
Endless ideas.

Love the back on them too. Nothing has been left out.

" 30th Birthday Card "

I always seem to forget to share my cards and
 my other crafty ideas.

So today I am sharing a pretty little card I made some time ago

The heart is the negative heart from a 2Crafty set of heart frames.
Love tulips and don't use them nearly enough.

"My first OTP "

Hi everyone,
I was just going back through some of my creations and I found this little beauty that I made awhile ago.

We all have got those Prima boxes with resin clocks or some other yummy embellishment in them.

I had this one and decided to have a go at an " Off The Page " (OTP) creation.

Having never done an OTP, this was so much fun. I just don't do them often enough.
This little beauty didn't last long on my sideboard.
My daughter saw it on a visit and was swiftly put in her bag to go home to
her home.

" Cute as can be "

Hi again,
today I am sharing my layout for
colour challenge for this month, July
.
I don't often create with the  colour blue but I really loved this  and I have been wanting to scrap this very cute photo of my gorgeous granddaughter " Eliza " for the longest time.

I used the negative of the 2Crafty heart chipboard frame and adhered
the beautiful lace and pearl trim to it. Against the squiggly heart frame it looks awesome.
I never throw the negative parts
of the chipboard pieces out. I have a box that they all go in, you
just never know when you might need a piece or use one for
a stencil.

This is such a pretty colour for this month challenge at White With 1

Showing the layers and that beautiful lace/pearl trim around the heart.

I just love Prills. They are the little beads that I adhered to the
end of these chippy flower pieces. I think they have to be my favorite
embellishment at the moment, I love that they are all different sizes.

Lots of die cut pieces in the layers teamed with a little black stamping.

A few flowers, gauze and the title across them all.

Those Prills again and to finish it off I added some
dollops of liquid pearls around the page.

If you would like any information about any of the items or products
that I have used please drop me a message and I will do my
very best to help you.

Thanks for stopping by
and
till next time
keep on scrapping.

" Me & My Brother "

Hi all,
I have so many posts to share with you
all this week.
So to start them all off I have for you today one I did
This was one of those layouts that started off in one direction but ended in a completely different one.
This is " Major Case File 205 "

I loved the colours in this case file.
These photos are of my 2 sons and their
step-sister. She and her family live in another state and we don't see her or them often enough. The boys love to have some fun stirring her  up and she just adores catching up with them. She has always been their sister no matter what. Watching her grow from a little girl into a loving mother has been an absolute pleasure for me.  I think the bright fun colours of this case file just suit these photos perfectly.

Case File items are as follows:
The Scheme (colours) all 5 accounted for in this layout.
The Evidence: I used the following from the list, chevrons, stripes, monograms, puffy stickers, something transparent, labels, metal and wet medium.
The Journaling: My layout was inspired by the "Photo a Day " challenge.
I used  2012 #20 Someone you love. See above ...

Coloured some of Green Tara hessian to go across the page.

Love the bright flowers on this one.
The frangipani's were way to big so I cut down the petals now I think they worked well.

Added some strips of paper with fish tails as per the sketch.
Metal wheels that I found in my stash (my first embellishment that I bought )
I love the beaded twirly sticks from D-lish Scraps.

Washi tape around the edge as well as in the strips of paper.

To many details to list on this layout.

If you would like to know about any of the products that
I have used to create this layout please don't hesitate to
contact me. I will do my very best to help you.

" A daughter is a gift of Love "

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by on this very cold winter's afternoon.
Today I want to share with you a layout that I did as
part of my DT work at
Color, Stories and Inspiration. CSI

This is a picture of my beautiful daughter "Kyra "
with her youngest daughter " Eliza" taken at
The Hunter Valley Gardens Christmas lights.
It was a couple of years ago now but they are such sweet
photos which I thought were just perfect for this case file.

CASE FILE ITEMS:
The Scheme - all colours are accounted for.
The Evidence - I used damask pattern, polka dots, stripes, hearts, birds, metal, flourishes, wings .borders, flowers, doilies, lace and bunting.
The journaling. I documented about something I loved by way of labels

Coloured my lace on the border to suit.
 Damask stencil with Colourblast paste,

Love this ScrapFX bird. Gesso and then some Gelato rubbed over it.
I used string pearls for the bird to hold the bunting.

Found this velum butterfly which looks beautiful
fluttering over all the pretty flowers.

I am so in love with these little birds from The Resin Rainbow, I seem to find
a home for them on all my layouts now.

Painted the chipboard which is also from ScrapFX .
Popped a fussy cut photo into this cluster, awesome.

Is you would like any further information on
any of the products that I have used please
feel free to contact me

Thanks for looking

till next time, keep on scrapping
