" Dream "

Welcome to case file 174 at Color, Stories and Inspiration (CSI)

It seems such a long time ago that I posted here and I know that this case file has now closed but I still like to share.
This is a photo of my son Wade and his girlfriend Kelsey at Sydney airport in 2014 just about to go through departures leaving to go on their European holiday.

CASE FILE 174

Case file Elements:

Now for the close ups and details.

I have torn the papers unevenly  horizontally, stamped with my postage stamp, inked the edges and then put some hessian between the layers. I stitched around the edge of the layout too. I die cut out the leaves in dark brown to make them pop.

I love the hessian chipboard from 2Crafty that I painted green and used behind the photos.
The arrows were painted with Viva Special Effects paste. Love the greeny gold colour and the gritty texture of this product.

The ScrapFX chipboard flowers stems that I used here I painted cream and the centre is a little metal embellishment that I found in my stash which just suited these 2. Love these little wooden cameras and decided to leave them natural.
Some larger flowers form Prima and just a couple of smaller blue roses to finish off the clusters.

The tags hold all my journalling and I poked them into the layers.
There are are heaps of layers on this layout and all of them have been inked.

Some of the products used;
Brown cardstock
Bo Bunny "Welcome Home Portrait"
Fancy Pants"Park Walk "
hessian
ScrapFX chipboard
2Crafty Chipboard
Prima flowers
Jo Sonja paints
Ceramcoat paints
Enthaily roses
Kaisercraft stamp
Distress inks

Thanks for dropping in
and till next time

" I'm Back"

Hi everyone, I can't tell you all how nice is it to be back.
I have so missed being able share my scrapping with you all on my little blog. I am not up to scrapping yet so I am working on getting myself super organised for when I can.

For those that didn't know I have been grounded for awhile due to having shoulder surgery at the beginning of the month.
Im still recovering so while my scissors, glue and flowers are resting I am taking the time to get my blog up to date.
So over the next few days I will be posted quite a few layouts.

Till next time
Keep on scrapping

" Cheeky "

Hi everyone and welcome..
Today I am sharing a layout that I have done as part of the Design Team at

For the month of September it is the beautiful colour of  Antique Moss

This is a photo of my Mum and her granddaughter Kyra and great granddaughter Emelia.
There is always one in the family that clowns around for photos and unfortunately I have 3 of them.
In this photo Kyra does the old rabbit ears and my poor Mum still to this day doesn't know that she has done it. In the photo that she has seen the rabbit ears were photo shopped out

I started off punching the top and bottom edges then inked them. I took a spare piece of cardstock and punched another strip of the same punch and used that as a stencil on the background. Coloured the background with paint and water,

You can see the stenciling better in this pic. The chipboard was painted green or white. How perfect is the title for this page.
Love the 2 Crafty chicken wire and the gorgeous white leaves.

Not having the right coloured flowers I am a big one for changing them to match and in this layout I did the same thing. I handmade the big one in the centre of the flowers.

Layers of hand printed papers to get the right colour and white doilies. Little white hearts scattered throughout the layout.

Handmade bows and tulle tucked here and there in the clusters.
Glittery hearts on the background. I cut out some flourishes out of the same mossy green cardstock that I used on the base page. The roses were coloured to match also.

\
I love the tape measure stamp and used it for one of my
layers in this layout.

Just another look at some of the layers.

This colour is gorgeous and I would love to see your layout in the gallery.

Thanks for stopping by
and till next time
keep on scrapping
