" Loving these Moments "

This is my layout for a challenge at Scrap Africa
Firstly I must say that I am sorry that there are no closeups on this one because once I took this photo and then my camera decided it didn't want to play anymore. Just glad I got one photo.

These are "my girls" my daughter and my beautiful granddaughters. I loved the colors in this challenge and the pink of the flowers on the tree in the photo were perfect.
On the chippy pieces I colored them and then added some micro beads, which I'm loving at the moment. Lots of Gelatos in the background and of course flowers and heaps of them.

" Magical Memories "

Welcome everyone this is another Case File Challenge layout for CSI (Color,Stories and Inspiration )
I love the inspiration that get from these case files they really push my scrapping not only in content but in quality.

This one was also inspired by a sketch by Emma Stafrace
This is the story that I have included in my journalling
Bali 2011
A surprise trip to Bali for Pat's (my hubby) birthday. I fulfilled a wish by making him a millionaire by giving him a box on his birthday which included a million dollars in IDR (Rupiah) airline tickets and accommodation details. His birthday was on the 6th of December and we flew out on the 8th. I overcame my fear of flying to surprise him with this trip.We had an amazing time even though it was so hot that even the locals were complaining.
Bali Zoo. I fulfilled a " bucket list" moment by holding a baby Orangutan. This had always been a dream of mine. At the Zoo they had one outdoors and you paid money to hold her for a short time. I decided that it was so good I was going to reward myself with another turn. $5.00 Australian and I again got to hold my new friend. The handlers laughed at my tears and gave me bananas to feed her and gave me the biggest turn. What a brilliant experience.

The Color Scheme is Light sea foam green, Bright Orange, Beige, medium brown and sunny yellow as you can see all colours have been used in this layout.
The Evidence I only needed to use 2 but I have chosen to use the following, wet medium (gesso, gelatos,) wood/woodgrain,animal accents and polka dots.
The Testimony I decided to journal about an outdoor activity but included the Inspiration words of outdoors, friend and reward. The journalling is on the tags behind the photos. (see above)

Emma's sketch that I used but changed the direction.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment as the are so inspiring

" Smile "

Hi everyone today I have used two challenge sites to create this layout. The first challenge site I used for inspiration was Color,Stories and Inspiration (CSI) and the actual design idea came from the sketch challenge at Scrap Africa.

This is a photo of my beautiful little granddaughter Emelia on Christmas day in 2013. I decided that I would introduce a new tradition. Each year we gather for this special day with all different colours on. I thought if we all wear the same colours then it would be so much easier for me to scrap. This year I decided red and white would be the colours. This is Emelia's red and white outfit which I think she looks so cute in especially the pose. Next year I have decided to create a photo booth and have a box of Christmas dressups for everyone to use. I cant wait to see the different and I'm guessing very funny photos that will be created on Christmas day. Everyone will be able to have photos taken when ever it suits them rather than trying to get everyone to sit in one place for a family shot.

THE SCHEME; I used all 5 colours...bright red, grass green, white, gray, bright blue.
EVIDENCE;  I used stars, stripes, metal, circles, paint, splatters, swirls, ribbon and heat embossing.
TESTIMONY; I journaled along the stripes and included 4 important things in my story

This is the case file that I took the clues from to give me the inspiration create my layout
